Aosta Valley 25-26Italy
Aosta Valley gained its autonomous status as a region of the North West of Italy Following the recognition of its minority languages. Based on this status, Aosta Valley has put in place a bi-plurilingual education system which takes into account and values multilingual reality.
The education department (département de la Surintendance aux écoles de l’Assessorat de l’éducation, de l’Université, de la recherche et des politiques de jeunesse) monitors the education system at primary and secondary level and in charge of the implementation of educational policies that value multilingualism.
